SOCIAL EVENTS
Spring and Summer mean social events at All Saints. We have a special garden party on Sunday, June 3rd, for which Marjorie Mitchell is opening up her beautiful home and garden. This will feature Bob MacLeod on the piano, Judy Mowers singing, and maybe even a repeat of the Rector's effort last year! It is a fund-raiser, and I would love to see a huge crowd there. Details on page 6.

On page 7 you will find details of our participation in the centenary of Hillcrest. I was invited to have All Saints' participate in this, and it is a great way to open up our church to the community. Again I look for your support.

Both of these events are outreach and fund-raising. Kim and Cheryl Evans would be glad to hear from anyone who wants to assist.

BAPTISMS, WEDDINGS, FUNERALS
The whole range of pastoral ministry happens in our parish. In February we had 2 baptisms and 2 weddings. We rejoice with Jessica and Ian Kelley and Tamela and Joseph Dreyer. On Easter Saturday we had a third wedding, when a joyful Nuptial Mass was celebrated for Teresa and Troy Lindenmeier. Each of these couples had a unique connection. Teresa is, of course, a member of our choir - and Joe and Jessica have been members of it also.   
On April 21st we celebrated a Requiem Mass for Betty Williams. Betty, along with Jim, has been a loyal member of our parish, and we give thanks to God for her life and faith. Her obituary was a great tribute to a lovely woman. We assure Jim of our prayers and love, and look forward to seeing him at Mass again.
