Our guest preacher, Fr David Lowman, gave us food for thought, especially with his English ecclesiastical travelogue at Evensong. It all finished with a wonderful reception in the Parish Hall.

NEW TABERNACLE & MONSTRANCE
It was a real joy to bless the new tabernacle and monstrance at the 8 am Mass on November 5th. Both are very handsome additions to our church and worship. The new tabernacle is veiled, in accordance with tradition. The veiled tabernacle not only denotes the presence of the Most Holy Sacrament, but reminds us of the tent which was the tabernacle in the Sinai wilderness that contained the presence of God Himself. So at All Saints' God dwells amongst his people.

PARISH DINNER
The stewardship dinner on Friday, November 27th was another great success. Every seat was taken as 90 people, enjoyed a delicious Jamaican supper from Elaine Williams. As Rector I began the proceedings with my stewardship address, reporting on the things we had achieved, and the things we had not done, since last year.

The Senior Warden, Rick Ochocki, responded in his engaging way, taking up the challenges and reminding us of the growth and progress we had made. Then Mr Tim Riis
addressed us on the "Legacy for Tomorrow" campaign. This is a scheme by which we can make provision for All Saints' in our wills and trusts.
