Dear parishioners & friends,

The months of October and November were very busy at All Saints'. The work on the parish hall retrofit started on time, finished just 2 days after schedule and came in under budget. This must surely be a first in the Kingdom of God! How good it was to return to the Parish Hall for our stewardship dinner on Friday, October 27th. As I welcomed everyone present I pointed to the girders underpinning the roof & asked everyone to look closely - they were worth $2,000 each!

At the same time the work in the church was going ahead. The sanctuary carpet was removed and the wooden floor renovated and polished. We also took the opportunity to extend the altar steps and to re-paint the wall behind the altar. The visual effect is stunning - but even more stunning is the sound. The choir sounds magnificent.

PATRONAL FESTIVAL
As soon as October finished we began our Patronal Festival. I was pleased with the attendances at the Masses on All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. So to the Sunday, with wonderful Services in the morning and evening. The music at both High Mass and Evensong was wonderful.
