Currently, St. Paul's Cathedral hosts a mobile medical van from the San Diego Health and Faith Alliance, twice a month for three hours at a time.  This van provides medical screening, resources and referrals for members of the church and needy persons in the local area.  Intended to facilitate professional training programs for medical students, nursing students, student pharmacists, therapists and pastoral counselors, this unit also provides services at St. Rita's Catholic Church and St. Vincent De Paul's Villages.  The Health and Faith Alliance would like to increase the number of locations for this program, and Dr. Banta is researching the possibility of All Saints' participating in this outreach. 

In addition, Claire Gates is looking into a similar program that combines medical and legal services.  The Parish family will be kept apprised of development in these efforts as well as the need for volunteers, goods and facilities.
