RECTOR'S NEWS

 

I thank all those who made the celebration of the 30th anniversary of my ordination to the priesthood a night to remember. Over 100 people attended All Saints' on Tuesday February 2nd for the High Mass at 7 pm. This began with the traditional blessing of candles & procession. The music was wonderful, with a powerful anthem that would have been perfect at my ordination: "Go forth with God! The day is now that thou must meet the test of youth.......Glory shall shine about thy road, great heart, if thou go forth with God!"

 

The Mass was followed by a fantastic reception, in true All Saints' style. My sermon will be available on this website soon. As I give thanks to God for the privilege of being a priest in his Holy Catholic Church for 30 years, please pray that I will continue as Christ's faithful servant in the ministerial priesthood.

 

With the festivities behind us it is now time to look forward to Lent. Ash Wednesday is March 17th. Our Lenten program will be both busy & rewarding. Details are on this website.
