ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW PRINCIPAL - ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL DAY SCHOOL

The Rector of All Saints', Fr Tony Noble, has announced the appointment of a new principal to succeed Mrs Carol Phillips. The new principal is Mr Bruce L. Givens. He will commence duties officially on June 28th, but has indicated he will be visiting the school to meet students, teachers and parents from May 12th.

Bruce Givens is former professor of West Liberty State College in West Virginia, and Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania. He has more than twenty years experience in educational administration, supervision, and teaching. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from San Jose State University, and a Master of Education from Azusa Pacific University.

Mr. Givens has conducted lectures, seminars, and workshops throughout the United States. He has been recognized for his public service in promoting human welfare and academic excellence in a variety of organizations and community activities. He has successfully prepared teachers through his classes in Special Education, Curriculum, Classroom management, Occupational/Recreational Training, and Education for the Gifted & Talented.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Givens was a Resource Specialist in a variety of assignments and state projects in Sweetwater Union High School District (San Diego County), Alhambra School District (Los Angeles County), and Fontana Unified School District (San Bernadino County).

He looks forward to bringing his expertise and committment as an educator to the position of principal at All Saints' Episcopal School.
